L’huile végétale de buriti : ses bienfaits cachés

Buriti vegetable oil: its hidden benefits

Buriti vegetable oil is an underrated oil with significant benefits. It comes straight from Brazil: buriti oil is extracted from the Buriti tree. The fruits of this tree contain an orange pulp: that is where buriti oil is produced, which has a bright orange color. Enriched with pro-vitamin A and beta-carotene, this oil contains many benefits. Its main asset is to give the face a healthy glow, but it is also extremely beneficial when used on the skin or hair. As with any natural oil, make sure to select your oil carefully: prefer a 100% natural and organic buriti oil; you can find it in health food stores or on specialized websites. A close look at a natural oil that abounds with extraordinary virtues.

Benefits of buriti vegetable oil for radiant hair

Is your hair dull and lifeless? Use buriti vegetable oil to restore shine and luster to your hair. You can use buriti oil as a mask and add other oils such as argan oil or olive oil to deeply moisturize the hair. But buriti oil can also be used to maintain your color:

· To maintain blonde hair, mix buriti oil with chamomile oil or turmeric powder

· To maintain brown hair, mix buriti oil with chestnut henna or walnut husk

If you simply want to restore shine to your hair, buriti oil can be applied alone or mixed with castor oil to promote hair growth. To make the mask, simply mix buriti oil with the ingredients of your choice (chamomile oil, castor oil, argan oil) or use it alone and then apply it to damp hair. You can leave the mask on for a few hours or overnight for optimal results. Then rinse out your mask and apply a gentle, preferably natural shampoo. Repeat this treatment once a week, and your hair should quickly regain its former shine.

Buriti oil for the skin: hydration and UV protection

Buriti vegetable oil is ideal for treating the skin and deeply hydrating it. You can mix buriti oil with other nourishing oils such as prickly pear oil, jojoba oil, or hazelnut oil. These natural oils will help hydrate dry or damaged skin.

You can also apply buriti oil as an after-sun treatment, either by adding a few drops to your usual moisturizer or by applying it directly to your skin.

Buriti oil, thanks to its beta-carotene content, can also prolong a tan and protect against the harmful effects of UV. For summer, buriti oil therefore provides a triple action: you can apply it before your tanning session to protect your skin, nourish it and improve the quality of your tan while prolonging its duration on your skin. It can also be used like a self-tanner. If the chemical compositions of the self-tanners sold in supermarkets worry you, buriti oil will win you over!

Buriti oil on the face

Just like for the body, buriti vegetable oil is ideal for the face: compatible with all skin types, it will hydrate and nourish dry and blemished skin, and it will restore radiance to the face while evening out the complexion. You can therefore opt for a buriti oil formulated for the face: these face oils are carefully crafted with ingredients designed for facial skin, like our uile face Résonance , a careful blend of buriti oil, plant squalane and coffee extract.
